Guarantee of Technical Competence

Inspections are carried out by Lemonsafe® an inspection body (Type A) accredited by IPAC, in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17020, guaranteeing technical competence, independence and impartiality.

Lemonsafe® is currently the inspection body accredited by IPAC in Portugal for initial , periodic and extraordinary inspections in the area of ​​workplace equipment safety .

How to obtain Laborsafe® Certification

1. Inspection Request

The customer requests an inspection of the machines and equipment to be checked.

Our team reviews the request and schedules the technical visit.

2. On-site Technical Inspection

A qualified inspector verifies machinery and equipment based on applicable standards and legal requirements.

During the inspection, the technical aspects relevant to the safety and compliance of the equipment are evaluated.

3. Report and Certification

After technical validation, an inspection report is issued and, when applicable, the certificate and the Laborsafe®.

The customer receives the complete technical documentation in digital format.

Laborsafe performs technical inspections on various equipment and structures used in industrial and professional settings.

Inspection of Work Equipment according to Decree-Law 50/2005

Equipment inspection service in accordance with the requirements of Decree-Law 50/2005. An essential practice to ensure safety in the workplace and comply with legislation. It allows for the identification of faults and preventive action, avoiding accidents and extending the lifespan of equipment. In addition to increasing safety, it helps avoid fines from the ACT (Authority for Working Conditions) and reduces costs associated with repairs and unforeseen downtime, while also ensuring the necessary documentation for audits.

Lemonsafe® acts as an inspection body accredited by IPAC , in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17020 – Type A.

Type A classification is assigned only to inspection bodies that guarantee complete independence and absence of conflicts of interest .

The accreditation granted to Lemonsafe® includes inspection activities in the field of workplace equipment safety, under the Laborsafe®.

As a Type A inspection body:

✔ We do not perform maintenance or repair on this equipment.
✔ We do not provide consulting services regarding the safety of the inspected equipment.

This independence ensures that the results of the inspections are independent and impartial.

At Lemonsafe®, we conduct annual inspections of storage racks according to EN 15635 standards, also complying with OSHA requirements and Decrees-Law No. 243/86 and 50/2005. Cargo Securing Devices for the Safe Transport of Goods in Road Vehicles

At Lemonsafe®, we carry out technical inspections of cargo lashing systems on road vehicles, in accordance with EN 12195-2, EN 12195-3 and EN 12195-4 standards, ensuring the safe transport of goods and compliance with Decree-Law No. 68/2022. The EN 12195 series defines the safety requirements for different lashing systems, including synthetic fiber straps (EN 12195-2), chains (EN 12195-3) and steel cables (EN 12195-4). Each system has specific applications and requires rigorous inspection to guarantee its strength and integrity. During the inspections, we analyze cuts, wear, corrosion, deformations and other signs of deterioration that may compromise cargo safety.

Inspection of Life Jackets and Buoys

At Lemonsafe®, we carry out technical inspections of aquatic rescue equipment, including lifebuoys, life jackets, and individual flotation devices. IPAC Accreditation

At Lemonsafe®, we carry out technical inspections of scaffolding and temporary work structures, ensuring regulatory compliance, user safety, and adherence to legal requirements in construction sites and industrial environments.

  • Scaffolding for temporary work, verified in accordance with the EN 12811, which establishes requirements for structural performance, materials, load tests and collective protection systems, guaranteeing stability, strength and safety during use;

  • Mobile access and work towers, inspected according to standards EN 1004-1:2020 and EN 1004-2:2021, which define requirements for design, permissible loads, component safety and quality of user manuals;
