Guarantee of Technical Competence
Inspections are carried out by Lemonsafe® an inspection body (Type A) accredited by IPAC, in accordance with the international standard ISO/IEC 17020, guaranteeing technical competence, independence and impartiality.
Lemonsafe® is currently the inspection body accredited by IPAC in Portugal for initial , periodic and extraordinary inspections in the area of safety in Play and Recreation Areas .

Inspection of Play and Recreation Areas

Compliance with EN1176 and EN1177
Play and recreation areas must be inspected daily, monthly, and annually to ensure compliance with applicable safety standards, EN 1176 and EN 1177, as well as applicable legislation, and to guarantee effective and correct availability for their users.
Lemonsafe®, through its Funsafe® brand, performs initial and periodic inspections of equipment and shock-absorbing flooring in play and recreation areas throughout the country, ensuring that they meet the requirements defined by the EN 1176 and EN 1177.
Our team uses properly maintained and calibrated devices to carry out inspections and issue certificates, guaranteeing that the equipment complies with applicable safety standards and requirements.
How to obtain Funsafe® Certification
1. Inspection Request
The customer requests an inspection of the equipment to be checked.
Our team reviews the request and schedules the technical visit.
2. On-site Technical Inspection
A qualified inspector verifies the equipment based on applicable standards and legal requirements.
During the inspection, the technical aspects relevant to the safety and compliance of the equipment are evaluated.
3. Report and Certification
Following technical validation, an inspection report is issued and, where applicable, the certificate and the Funsafe®.
The customer receives the complete technical documentation in digital format.
